MUSIC IS A BEAUTIFUL THING

This post has been written under some typical circumstances that you'll soon know. I would encourage you all to bear with me and read it with an "open" mind coz ur gonna find me "talking" to u.

It must be a surprise to hear about music from a not-so-music lover like me. Actuallly it will be wrong on my part to say that I dont love music but I take the liberty of saying so coz I am not updated about the latest songs as also I dont have a good knowledge about the music composers and singers.

That part well explained let me proceed about my topic. Music is something that has no language, it is well explained in terms of moods, feelings, frequency and notes. We need music for life but we often dont give much importance to its existence. It is prevalent in all stages of our life from the birth of a child to the death of a person. No, I'm not talking about the crying of a baby on its birth or the cries of the woman when her husband dies, I am talking about the musical toys played for a child and the sad music that is played on the departure of say, a soldier.

If we have to discuss about the not-so-sighted music, let me tell you that at this instant I'm listening to the first ever male dominant item number in Bollywood, yes u guessed it right, "Dard-e-disco". Three cheers for the music that we listen to while we work and yet cant recall what we had just listened to. We also listen to music when we are vacuuming our houses (on the ipod ofcourse) and some fools do the same when riding the bike. It is another issue that I listen to music when I'm taking a bath after a lot of arrangements and numerous extension chords, much to the annoyance of my mom.

And there are times when we feel sad and listen to songs that otherwise we couldn't even bear. Like, I found it hard to listen to rock music until a few years ago. Now I love em, thanx to the tensions of today's world. Another boundary I havnt touched yet is the exercise. Can u imagine exercising while a sad song is on? Music plays a crucial role while exercising. It helps to complete that last bit of ab crunches or the final 10 push-ups. Did I mention that I also listen to music when I get angry? Actually that's coz I wash my clothes best at those times, hence the need.
And my sister had a weird interest of indulging in music while solving her maths sums. Its only normal that I got infected as well. Its just like a yawn, once a person does it , another does it too, its contagious. And this a good example of getting deflected from ones topic of concern, which now for me is music. Not quite actually. Coz yawning reminds me of sleeping and that reminds us all about, ofcourse the alarm clock. Dont you start cursing me about the sleep that you lost today which my blog just reminded you.

Lets dedicate this post to those innumerable composers who have made our lives a lot more bearable to live with their great compositions.
